Gerald Anderson makes it to the top of his generation of actors today as he continues to amaze and make people cry with his acting abilities and the story behind a special child with which he portrays in Budoy Teleserye. Gerald is different and I must admit he's gone from the wholesome guy in your favorite love stories to the mature actor who could be lined up with the veterans like Zha Zha Padilla, Tirso Cruz, Mylene Dizon, Barbara Perez and the likes of other veteral actors and actresses.
Budoy turned out to be appealing to the Pinoys as their sentiments were drawn by the character that Gerald plays in the story. The struggle of a mother and the world-changing acts of a special child in Budoy. Today, the soap continues to hail in ratings here and there while Jessy Mendiola and Enrique Gil seemed to complete the story for an inspiration to Budoy and a friend to a special child in him who understands what he going through.

I am surprised as well. Every karinderia in my place tunes in to this soap. I wonder how families with "real" special needs children would react.
